AI for law firms

Luxxstack builds AI for law firms. It handles client intake, chases documents and drafts matter updates in your firm's own wording, with a solicitor signing off before anything goes to a client. It prepares the work and your people stay responsible for the advice.

AI integration programmes

Ready for more than one AI employee?

We build full AI integrations for businesses in this field: agents with real roles, connected to your systems, with people approving what matters. Programmes start from £15,000, typically £25,000 to £70,000+, and we run them for you.

Your plate, lighter

What it takes off your plate

Client intake

New enquiries are logged, the key details captured and the right questions asked, ready for a fee earner.

Documents chased

ID, signed forms and supporting papers are requested and chased until the file is complete.

Matter updates drafted

Regular updates are drafted from the file, in your firm's wording, for a solicitor to approve.

Deadlines and diary tracked

Key dates are watched and flagged ahead of time, so nothing relies on memory.

Inbox triaged

Client emails are sorted by urgency, filed to the right matter and answered where a draft will do.

Wording checked

Drafts are checked against your approved wording and anything that could read as a promise of outcome is flagged.

The picture

Where law firms are with AI

Many lawyers are already using AI, often without a plan. The figures below come from surveys and the regulator's register.

  • The SRA regulated 8,928 firms at 31 October 2025, down from 9,147 a year earlier (SRA).
  • 61% of UK lawyers use AI day to day, up from 46% in January 2025, but only 17% say it is fully embedded in strategy and operations (LexisNexis).
  • A 2026 survey found 59% of UK lawyers using unauthorised AI (Resultsense). A set-up your firm has approved, with sign-off built in, is the alternative.

The rules

SRA rules and your own sign-off

Law firms answer to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and the firm stays responsible for what goes to a client.

  • We build drafts around your firm's own approved wording, and flag anything that could read as advice or a promise of outcome.
  • Every client-facing message waits for a solicitor to approve it. That is the default, and you decide if it ever changes for low-risk messages.
  • AI does not give legal advice. Advice stays with your fee earners.

General information, not regulatory advice. Check the SRA's own guidance for what applies to your firm.

Illustrative example

Illustrative: a new client enquiry

An enquiry arrives overnight. The AI logs it, captures the details, asks for the ID and documents the firm needs and drafts a polite acknowledgement in the firm's wording. The fee earner sees it in the morning brief, edits the reply and approves it. This is an example of how it could work, not a client result.

Questions people ask

Can AI be used safely in a law firm?

It can, with the right set-up. It runs on a private server, works only from the records you give it, and every client-facing message waits for a solicitor to approve it. Your firm stays responsible.

Does AI give legal advice?

No. It prepares and organises. Advice stays with your fee earners.

What does SRA-aware wording mean?

We build drafts around your firm's own approved wording, and flag anything that could read as advice or a promise of outcome. A solicitor still reads and approves it. This is general information, not regulatory advice.

Can it update clients on their matter?

It can draft updates from the file notes. A solicitor approves them before they are sent.

How much does it cost for a law firm?

Full AI integration programmes start from £15,000, one workflow or department is typically £2,500 to £15,000, and a managed AI Teammate (from £295 a month) is a low-risk first step. Prices exclude VAT. See the pricing guide.

Everyone has access to AI. Very few have it working for them.
