Scoring guide
What your score means
Each answer scores 0 to 3, so the total is out of 30. Add yours up and find your band.
| Score | Result | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 0 to 11 | Start with a discovery call | You'll get more from AI once a few foundations are in place. That's normal, and a short conversation will tell you what to sort first. |
| 12 to 21 | Ready for a first AI employee | You have enough in place to try one AI teammate working alongside your people on a handful of jobs. It's a low-risk way to see it working. |
| 22 to 30 | Ready to build | Your processes, tools and team are in good shape for something bigger than a single teammate: an automation or agent for a workflow or department, or a wider programme. |

Start with a discovery call (0 to 11)
You'll get more from AI once a few foundations are in place. That's normal, and a short conversation will tell you what to sort first.
- Book a call and tell us where your time goes. We'll say straight whether AI would help yet.
- Pick one repetitive job and write down the steps. That alone makes any later build quicker.
- If you want a proper plan, a paid discovery and roadmap maps your workflows and sets out what to build first.
Discovery and roadmap: £1,500 to £3,000. Credited against the build. Prices exclude VAT.
Ready for a first AI employee (12 to 21)
You have enough in place to try one AI teammate working alongside your people on a handful of jobs. It's a low-risk way to see it working.
- Choose one or two jobs to start with: the inbox, chasing documents or follow-ups are common.
- Name the person who will approve what the AI prepares.
- Book a call. Most AI teammates are live within a week of the onboarding call.
AI Teammate (managed, monthly): From £295 a month. Plus a one-off setup from £495. Prices exclude VAT.
Ready to build (22 to 30)
Your processes, tools and team are in good shape for something bigger than a single teammate: an automation or agent for a workflow or department, or a wider programme.
- Pick the workflow or department where time is lost most.
- Book a call. We'll scope what to build and price it clearly.
- Start with one build, then widen it. Many firms add an AI teammate alongside to see quick wins first.
AI automations and agents: From £2,500. Optional support plan. Prices exclude VAT. For a company-wide build, see full AI integration programmes.

Questions people ask
What does the AI readiness check measure?
It looks at how work flows through your business, where the time goes, the tools you use, how tidy your information is, the rules you work under and how your team feels about AI. Each answer scores 0 to 3, so the total is out of 30.
Is my data stored?
No. Your answers and score stay on this page and aren't saved anywhere. If you choose to email yourself the results, only your email address and your score are sent.
Is the result a guarantee?
No. It's a rough guide to where to start, based on your own answers. It doesn't promise any saving.
What if I score low?
That's fine and quite common. It means a short conversation and a few foundations will help more than a build right now. We'll tell you straight if AI isn't a fit yet.
Can I take it without JavaScript?
Yes. All ten questions show on the page with their points, and the scoring guide below tells you which result your total gives.
